almost over

did you know, i havent really celebrated Chinese New Year.. well, actually, its not biggie for the famillia. we usually go away somewhere, or hide out somewhere else.. but honestly, the past years, it was me making a fuss to have Open House and so on.. seriously. weird huh.

this year, is not a first to celebrate CNY overseas (we dint always have the chance to be in Kuching for this) but i have heard that CNY in HK is AMAZING. the lanterns (is it tang lung? i forgot) and light shows, fireworks.. seriously.. the works! cant wait. alsooooooooo, i turn the big 29 on the 20th of Feb. i know right.. MAN!!!

neways, it’ll be a fantastic start to my 2010, i’ll be in Guangzhou for my birthday, i get 4 days break for CNY. i foresee vegetation (lots of it) and maybe venturing out to the markets (doubtful, but you never know) and finally, hanging with the dudes at GZ (and then some!!) i cant wait!

i am watching Fringe now, it freaks me out, but i like it. does that mean im sadistic? or is it the other one.. sado..something something.. forgot.. still watching my beloved NCIS, and GG.. waiting for Glee and Greek to start up again (sigh)

can you imagine the smoke after all the hoopla has dies down? man!

so Mr Ma arrived last monday.. its been awesome having people around. admittedly, him staying with me was a comedy from beginning. he snored likeeeeee MAD on the first night, but he complained i snord like mad. so both dint sleep!!

exactly the thing i needed!

its been ages since i posted piccies or anything for that matter. my sojourn to NZ was just.. SUPERB!! lazing, food, sun and surf, pools and drinking games, hanging out and bubble teas, catching up and gossip, moments captured in time and monumental developments? HAHA! L-U-V it!

anyways, i had 1 amazing week in KL too.. friends, food, drink (urgh) even managed to squeeze in clubbing! awesome indeed! so pics are so much better at conveying what fun i had 1 month flew past too quickly!!

have been back at work for nearly 2 weeks now and friends have come and gone. the next session starts on the 25th of Jan, when Mr Ma arrives, and 29th Jan madame em arrives and after that its break for 2 weeks and the chickies are in HK on 16th or was it 17th Feb. and guess what? it will be a HUGE, EPIC night, cos you know who is turning 29? yea YEA!

also, moved home to Mt Eden. i miss my little apartment. although i dont have my room anymore (Jay is there) but i still miss the little place.

the mother of all surprises…

so, i have kept a secret for 1 week.. well.. 1 week and 1 day now. i am so proud of myself. the big picture is.. i arrived in Auckland, NZ on Sunday the 13th of Dec (and i bumped into Ken at KLIA.. haha) and showed up an Em’s farewell thingy.. and went.. SURPRISEEEE!

it was just.. awesome! only em and james knew (em cos i needed to coordinate stuff with and james cos i need to crash at his place, plus someone to pick me up from the airport.. HAHAHAH!) everyone else kinda.. yelled at me, hugggggged me and then continued yelling! i love these guys!

and the best was saved for last, i needed to surprise Miss TMA.. and she was hardest. i wasnt sure if she was gonna be home or out or something. so i rang her fiance on friday.. “dude.. guess what.. bla bla bla” and he was like.. OK! i’ll make sure.” the only prob was, on sunday, it was an ALLLL DAYYY session. by the time it got to 8am (i arrived at 3pm) i was dead. jet lagged and dead. so i totally went back to James’ place and crashed! worst part, King rang Jay to ask if i was with him.. Jay was like huh? Jo’s in HK.. he was like.. realllly? WHOOOPS! i wanted to surprise Jay.. (and nette.. HAHHA) ah well. it turned out alright, cos when i showed up tonight at MissTMA’s place, she got her special Xmas present am so glad your happy.. cos im glad to be back home..

and i dont know looloo’s dude (yet) so i couldnt call to make sure she was home, so i just called her and woke her up at 10am this morning.. and she also sceamed down the phone.. in her groggy morning i-just-woke-up voice .. so technically she knew first and she did so well in not telling MissTMA.. HAHAHA.. but will be seing the girls on Thursday night.. only one more to surprise.. she should know but she is the Goldfish we’ll see
